By Phoebe Werner
On Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23, Mrs. Lippincott’s AP Chemistry students performed lab demonstrations to Roosevelt Elementary School’s fourth and fifth grade challenge program students.
After performing labs ranged from producing rainbow fire to forming elephant toothpaste, the AP Chemistry students gave a simplified explanation as to why and how their lab worked.
The purpose of this field trip was to get elementary school students excited about science.
