The tradition of handprints: Seniors leave their mark
by shelby gibbs
Seniors have waited 108 days to put their handprints on the wall and walk across the great stage of succession and triumph and into an unknown world.
As the last days of high school came to a close, they anxiously awaited the moment to say goodbye to all of the people who pushed us forward.
They left their marks on the walls in the form of handprints, which can be found at the end of senior hall outside the 700 hall entrance.
They honor a tradition that has gone on for many years.
Their memories in Craig’s narrow and condensed halls will haunt their minds with everlasting remembrance.
They said “goodbye” to the new seniors, “goodbye” to the teacher that helped them through the sleepless nights of studying for that one test, and goodbye for that last year that they showed “it’s possible.”
They will remember Craig High School for all the experiences they’ve gone through, and they say “goodbye” to the long four years.
Thank you for the memories, Craig, for you will always be in our hearts and mind.
“Goodbye” from the class of 2018.
