Was it good? I Tonya

I, Tonya has impressed both the harshest critics and the common audience in its limited release preview weekend.
I, Tonya on Rotten Tomatoes has 90% for Critics and 89% for audience. On its preview weekend, the movie ranked 19th for the earnings, making only $.02 million dollars. Although, it was a limited release, I, Tonya has made over $32 million dollars.
The movie is about the life of Tonya Harding and her connection to the Nancy Kerrington’s attack. It is also, a mockumentary and breaks the fourth wall.
One of the better things in this movie was the acting. Not only was Margot Robbie great as Tonya, but also, had sounded much like Tonya herself. Though, Allison Janney stole the show of playing Tonya’s mother. Which Janney won her role at the Golden Globes. Another great actor is Sebastian Stan, who plays Tonya’s now ex husband, who just did a great job playing a bad person.
Surprisingly, the soundtrack for this movie, is one of better soundtracks for a movie. It has a mix of music from the radio and original score. Both the music from the radio and original score fit the scene that is playing at.
Cinematography for this movie is stunningly beautiful. With each pop out colors during dark colors in the background. One that comes to mind is how they use costumes to pop out colors.
The pacing of the film is just right with it just being 2 hours. Even though, it’s two hours, doesn’t feel like it takes 2 hours.
Though, my only problem with the film is that it doesn’t go into a lot of detail about what happen with attack and what happen afterwards. Most people would’ve like a lot more information about the attack and what happened to Tonya afterwards than telling you about the way that she grew up.
I would give this 4.5 stars out of 5 because I think they did amazing job with everything, but I think they need to have better details about the attack.
